To choose to help guide children to become capable of being each their own teacher in their journey toward being their better selves is a very high calling. Thank you for choosing to be one of those guides. The children and their future will be the better for your efforts. You have brightened the world with your good works.

As I read this intro to your writing I’m reminded of Paul Tillich’s “the Courage to Be” and find it enticing to think of Bravery and Courage in the same breath; I love your observation that from birth the quality of bravery is a gift….that 1st breath and then the 2nd; that first “roll over;” that first time…. for everything; I think another series could be written for those in the “senior” yrs for lack of a better descriptor; I’ve served as a chaplain for 50+ yrs at a Sr care facility ~ and see a lot of what I’m sure we would agree is “being brave. I Thank God for you!!!
